Thinking of making something easy and healthy for Kids! Try this tasty Pancake recipe for kids as breakfast or evening snack. Your kids will love this for sure. This recipe is one of my son’s favorite.

Many moms have asked for carrot recipes for kids.You can try this pancake, this way you can sneak carrots in their diet

Carrot Banana Pancake Recipe for Kids

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 banana mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 whole carrot grated finely (You can cut carrot into small pieces roughly and just grind it until shredded or grated)
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2tsp ghee
  • Sugar or Honey (As per your taste)

Preparation

First mash banana or you can puree it

Mix in the egg, add the milk and beat well.

Add vanilla extract, sugar or honey and  ghee and stir it

Then add the flour, and the grated carrot. Mix well.
Or You can put all the ingredients in the blender and blend it. If the batter is thick, you can add milk accordingly or if it is thin, you can add flour.The consistency should match cake batter

Pour ½ tbsp ghee into the pan and Pour 2 tbsp of the batter into the heated Pan.

When bubbles appear, flip your pancake and let them cook for another couple minutes on the other side.

Serve with honey or peanut butter!

Tip: you can add 1 or 2 tsp Ragi flour as a healthy option. It won’t change the taste as such.
