- Wheat flour – 1/4 cup
- Moong dal (cherupayar paripp) – 1/4 cup
- Sprouted Ragi Powder – 2 tbsp(optional)
- Sugar/jaggery – 3/4 cup (Optional). No sugar for babies under 1 year
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
Roast wheat flour and moong dal separately. Roast till the color changes into brown for 3-4 minutes.
Then grind the moong dal in a grinder and keep aside. Take ghee in a heavy based pan and stir in the wheat, moong dal and ragi powder (optional) and keep stirring for 8-10 minutes till brown.
Remove the mixture from fire and add grinded sugar or jaggery (optional) No sugar for babies less than 1 year.
Now make small ladoos or balls and keep aside for few minutes.
