Recently my sis-in-law delivered a boy and I was really surprised to see with all the gifts she received were a Himalaya baby pack or its products. Its not the gift that surprised me but the recent change from other brands to Himalaya that people are going for.
I was using lotion on my son which was not that much effective in this cold climate of Bangalore. so I was looking for baby creams, that was when I received the Himalaya baby cream which contain olive oil and country mallow
Product claims and description
Himalaya baby cream is a product of Himalaya herbal health care.
A specially formulated soft cream for dry cheeks, tender noses, rubbed elbows and knees. Hypoallergenic, no harmful chemicals Main ingredients
1. Olive oil improves skin luster
2. Country mallow an anti oxidant protects and soothes skin. It contains ephedrine When I read about country mallow I found out it contains ephedrine. So I send my query to Himalaya to know more about it. I wanted to know if its safe for babies. This was the reply I got:
“Himalaya Baby Care creams are topical in nature. We ensure that the nerve stimulating active found in Country Mallow is not present either in the raw material used or in our final formulation. Moreover even if this particular active is present in the cream, owing to its molecular structure it cannot penetrate the skin, thus making our products free from any side-effects.”
